pretty little things of the summer
Hi friends,
I wish I had exciting things to share with y’all, but I don’t. Just been posting on LinkedIn a lot (yikes), trying to get a job, and praying that my de facto partnership visa comes through in October.
Here are some things I’ve been paying attention to recently:
The Gilded Age
I definitely don’t like this show for the CGI exteriors. I like it for the interiors and the fashion. The kitchens are the big hit for me, actually.

The color trim!!! The tiles!! The table island!!
Another table island! The huge wall of stoves! The biggest hanging pot rack you’ll ever need! The high ceilings! Shall I go on?
Magis Dish Doctor
I love a dish rack that is its own design piece. There aren’t a ton of them out there unfortunately. This is my favorite so far, but I wish it drained directly onto the counter rather than creating its own little tub of whatever.
I’d love to see a dish rack made of recycled plastic in that cool terrazzo style. Like this:

Some of my faves:
I got this top - the Marina Cami - and I am so pleased. Perhaps I am finally entering my cute top era. Is it possible to do so without leaving my graphic tee era? Can women have it all?
There are matching shorts too, btw. I’m not cool enough for the set. Maybe someday.
