Issue 13
it's autumn now??
Hi friends,
It’s me again. How’s September going? I just realized that it has been over a year of Pretty Lil Things! So fun. Thanks for being here with me!
Here’s what I’ve been loving recently.
Diploria’s pieces, inspired by brain coral, are so pleasing and beautiful. Plus, “The lampshade is made of a warm white corn starch-based biopolymer and is biodegradable. It can be easily separated from the base of the lamp thanks to its magnetic connection and is robust and waterproof, making it easy to clean.”
How fab!
Fetch and Cove’s Elysian Table Lamp
I’m not usually into the fake farmhouse whitewash grey thing, but something about these work for me. Plus they’re 80 GBP, which is super reasonable. I like the lampshade texture and color too.
I’m addicted to Zimmerman’s work. The textures and colors feel so alive. Kind of Van Gogh, non? Too bad art is so expensive; but he does sell prints!
Artist Tom Philip’s Peckham House
AHHHHH!!! It’s just perfect. As the article says, he subscribed to an idea I believe in as well - Picasso’s notion that one’s whole house should serve as a studio. It makes my heart sing.
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading.
Talk soon,
xo Lil
